This 2026 wooden calendar is an excellent addition to a work desk, coffee table, kitchen counter, or shelf. This wooden calendar has a "vintage" dark walnut stain made from a homemade steel wool, vinegar, coffee, and tea mixture. The calendar has a bulldog clip and a wooden dowel to prop the board upright. The calendar inserts feature images from my series, Through the Tongass. These images feature 12 months of black-and-white landscape photographs from Kruzof Island, near Sitka, Alaska, in the Tongass National Forest. All images were taken on Lingít Aaní.

The calendar inserts are printed on 18pt thick, silky smooth, durable paper. They are coated on the front side. Therefore, you cannot write on the front of the calendar, but the back is uncoated, allowing notes to be written on it. Calendar inserts are printed through Moo, based in Rhode Island. Indents on the calendar inserts may occur because they are held by the bulldog clip.

Calendars come wrapped in eco-friendly tissue paper and tied with twine, with a hand-stamped tag from recycled shipping material.

The term "vintage" means that items may have certain "marks" or "scuffs" for aesthetic purposes. Bulldog clips may leave impressions on calendar paper. The color of the bulldog clip can also be imprinted on the calendar sheet, but is hidden when the calendar is inserted into the clip.
